GO GLOBAL UTokyo Study Abroad Fair 2026

We are holding the Study Abroad Fair again this year! This popular annual event saw 750 participants last year. This year, we are expanding the venue. Pre-registration is required for participation. Please stay tuned to this page for the latest updates.

Target: UTokyo Undergraduate Students, Graduate Students, and their families

Objective: To support students in planning their study abroad and international education early after admission and the start of the new academic year. We will provide information on the significance and importance of international education, programs and systems available to UTokyo students, and an overview of scholarships for studying abroad.

General Information Session (On-Demand Video – Must Be Viewed in Advance)

As a first step toward engaging in international activities at the University of Tokyo, the Go Global Gateway On-Demand Online Course provides essential information on international opportunities and academic programs offered by UTokyo. The course also includes firsthand experiences shared by faculty members from the Center for Global Education and UTokyo students who have participated in study abroad programs and other international activities. The total viewing time is approximately 100 minutes, about the length of one class session. To ensure an efficient and productive consultation at the Study Abroad Fair, please complete the course before attending.

*While the "Go Global Gateway" is a program for undergraduate students, graduate students can also take the on-demand basic courses.

・Since the general orientation is provided via on-demand video, the individual booth consultations are the main feature of the Study Abroad Fair.
・You can consult in person with faculty and staff from various internal and external departments/organizations regarding study abroad programs, overseas internships, international volunteering, scholarships, and language proficiency tests. The list of scheduled exhibitors is provided below.
・A place to interact with students who have study abroad experience and international exchange students currently studying at the University of Tokyo.

Venue C: 21KOMCEE West Basement Level 1 Lecture Hall (Capacity: approx. 200 people)
・A corner where representatives from each booth give a brief 10-minute overview. This will be held concurrently with the individual booth consultations.

FAQ

Q. I cannot attend on the day. Are there any services for students who cannot participate?
A. This year, the general orientation is available as an on-demand course, so those who cannot attend can still watch it. Please check the materials within the on-demand course. Individual consultations are only available at the venue on the day of the event. We do not set aside physical materials distributed on the day, but if participating organizations provide digital materials, we will post them on this page for a certain period. Additionally, any materials left over from the venue that organizations wish to distribute will be placed at the Center for Global Education, where you can pick them up.
