Interactions & Collaborations with Local Communities

In order to promote exchange between individuals, various activities are planned by local government and citizen groups. UTokyo seeks to act as a link between students and the community in order to provide both sides with ways of reaching out to each other. One-to-One Cultural Exchange Program with local volunteers is offered on Kashiwa Campus.

Some local municipalities (ward/city/prefecture, etc.) provide supports and assistance to their foreign residents with Japanese language and daily life.
