UC Berkeley/Davis Programs (Administered by the Division of International Affairs, The University of Tokyo)

The University of Tokyo (UTokyo) is a partner university of UC Berkeley and UC Davis. As such, UTokyo students are eligible to participate in these programs and in accordance with the guidelines below, they are invited to apply to the programs. UC Berkeley offers American and International Study Program (AISP) in which you can study American Politics and International Relations. At UC Davis, you may be able to take any courses open in UC Davis through their Global Study Program (GSP). English language courses will also be offered.

Program Merit

Other than exchange program, this UC program allows you to study abroad from one semester to a full academic year. Basically, you need to pay tuition, but you can apply for scholarship provided by UTokyo and/or scholarship foundations.

Timeline of Application

We annually accept applications from March to early April for the following study abroad periods. For further details, please consult the application guidelines. After the internal screening, you will be notified of the result around late April. Students who passed the internal screening will apply for UC Berkley/Davis directly.
