National Taiwan University and University of Tokyo Joint Winter Program

Overview

Students from both UTokyo and National Taiwan University (NTU) will learn globally expanding Taiwanese politics, culture and society by joining projects led by graduate students from each university. They will initially take lectures in English, and improve their understanding of Taiwan by joining research projects led by graduate students from Day 3. In this program, we will use mostly English, but Chinese and Japanese will also be used occasionally during the field trips. At the end of the program, students will give an overall presentation in English to have feedback from faculty members.
