Asian University for Women* and The University of Tokyo will jointly host an online winter program for undergraduate students from both institutions. Guided by the overall theme “Conceptualizing Gender (with a focus on Feminism)”, this program offers students basic academic understanding of gender and feminism, as well as opportunities to exchange ideas and experiences about gender and related social issues. By bringing students of diverse backgrounds across borders and institutions, the program offers an exciting opportunity for participants to gain a better grasp of dynamics of gender, which conditions our lives in fundamental ways.
Specialized disciplinary knowledge on gender studies is not necessary and students in any year or majors are welcome.
