III-nitride quantum dots are promising materials for the development of single-photon emitters, which are expected to be used in future quantum information processors. We are working toward understanding the physical processes in these structures and developing single-photon emitters with improved properties. Recent topics include increasing the photon extraction efficiency and reducing noise effects, such as spectral diffusion.
