The 2030 Agenda and sustainable development goals (SDGs) have adopted the concept “Leaving No One Behind” as the foundational principle for development activities from 2016 to 2030. Under this core principle, the United Nations is pushing to promote the inclusion of women, children, migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, indigenous people, persons with disabilities, older persons, LGBTs, among others, as key priority groups. In this seminar series, we invite guest speakers from the UN organizations and NGOs, and facilitate discussions between guest speakers and students to consider ways to find innovative solutions. Outcomes of the discussions and recommendations are translated and compiled into an outcome document, and then submitted to the UN Headquarters.
The outcome document is submitted to the UN
