We develop a methodology to measure and evaluate environmental changes of a city, agricultural and forested areas by focusing on human activities on the global scale. These researches are carried out under international technology collaboration, and research-derived systems are implemented and transferred to operational schemes in mainly Asian countries: Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, and Sri Lanka. Such operations are conducted through the Asia Pacific Region Space Forum (APRSAF), the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
