AICOM -Democratized and Co-creative AI

The AICOM project aims to create better communication between scientists and local communities for democratizing the latest AI technologies and building a future society together. This collaborative project between the DLX Design Lab and the Sugano Lab at the Institute of Industrial Science aims to provide a new gamified experience for collecting training datasets required for developing gaze estimation models. The goal of this project is to design a mutually meaningful system that allows researchers to make the data collection process more open to the public, while also allowing the participants to understand the reasons for data collection and learn about AI technology.
