In future Society 5.0, sensors will gather a myriad of data that will be analyzed by AI to create new value. Thermoelectric modules are promising as devices for the supply of power to sensors by directly converting ubiquitous thermal energy in the environment to electricity. By utilizing magnetic phenomena, such as magnetic interactions and spin fluctuations, we plan to perform basic theoretical research for developing ultra-high performance thermoelectric materials.
