This project was established in April 2007 to 1) widely examine the theories and practices of financial laws, 2) contribute to the advancement of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act and Financial Services Regulation, 3) give lectures at undergraduate and graduate levels and 4) help students to systematically understand financial laws (the initial term was five years). This project was renewed in April 2012 (for five years) and renewed again in April 2017 (for three years).

To study the theories and practices of financial laws, this project conducts theoretical research, including comparative. In cooperation with business professionals familiar with financial practices, the program helps deepen theoretical research, including legislative theory by resolving the latest financial law practical issues. The results from the research are reflected in education in undergraduate and graduate schools. This project attempts to further study fields in which theoretical examinations have been insufficient. This project also helps graduate and undergraduate students systematically understand financial laws. Therefore, it aims to advance the practices and studies of financial laws and cultivate young researchers in the field.
