UTokyo-Princeton International Workshop on Infectious Disease Modeling

As many countries go through the demographic transition, longer lifespans mean increased chances of acquiring infectious diseases later in life. This in turn generates profound policy implications. Our research partnership with Princeton University will integrate our expertise in statistical and mathematical modelling to undertake a series of case studies concerning infectious disease dynamics. This collaboration serves as an ideal vehicle for forging research and teaching links between the two institutions, which makes it possible to address public health problems highly relevant to both countries.
