Study Abroad Seminar

Overseas Study Advisory Committee, The University of Tokyo (UT-OSAC) was established by a few UTokyo alumni in 2010 as a result of the increase in interest toward studying abroad. Its main purpose is to provide support and information to the students seeking to pursue their graduate degrees (Master’s and doctorate, excluding professional degrees such as MBA) outside Japan.

Study Session on how to write a Statement of Purpose (SOP)

UT-OSAC holds information sessions semiannually, in which alumni who have obtained and/or are currently pursuing their graduate degrees share their experience and information with UTokyo students who are preparing to apply for graduate schools. Recently, a three-day study session was held to focus on how to write a Statement of Purpose (SOP) and received positive reviews by the attendees.
