The University of Tokyo Forests, Field Data Research Center

To build a forest field data platform that can broadly meet the needs of society to solve problems related to forests and forestry. To achieve this goal, we will 1) promote the use of ICT in field data acquisition and forest field management, 2) develop an infrastructure to support data accumulation, long-term operation of the system, and data science, and 3) provide forest field data to the global open data community to contribute to global scientific information. We will also work on human resource development to ensure the long-term sustainability of these projects.
