In order to reduce the burden on local communities caused by the process of vaccination and to contribute to the prevention of the spread of infection by increasing the rate of vaccination, the university has made the decision to start providing vaccinations against the novel coronavirus on Hongo Campus from Thursday, 8 July (provisional).
In overseas countries and regions where vaccination has progressed, restrictions on social life, education and research activities are gradually being lifted. By vaccinating students, faculty and administrative staff, we hope to create a safer and more secure campus and promote research and educational activities at the university while still giving maximum consideration to the prevention of the spread of the infection.
In addition to the members of UTokyo who wish to be vaccinated, we will be making the vaccination available to students, faculty and administrative staff from other nearby universities as well as other universities’ students who have plans to study abroad.

1．Vaccination Dates (Provisional)
Thursday, 8 July to Friday, 29 October
Weekdays: 10:00 ~ 12:00, 13:00 ~ 16:00
- The start date may vary subject to the availability of the vaccines.
- No vaccination will take place on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays. Furthermore, the number of people able to be vaccinated will vary depending on the situation.
- As the number of vaccines being made available to the university at the start will be small, it is expected that there would be some difficulty in making reservations in the first couple of weeks after 8 July. However, we are expecting to have a stable supply from 20 July onwards.
