The third inoculation against COVID-19 at the University of Tokyo has ended

July 5, 2022

The University of Tokyo had been offering the third inoculation against COVID-19 since 1 March 2022 on Hongo Campus in order to alleviate the burden on the community and prevent the spread and aggravation of the infection, and to ensure continuation of safe education and research activities. The session for the additional inoculation (3rd shot) finished on 1 July 2022.

A total of 13,822 students, academic and administrative staff and their families, as well as students, faculty members of nearby universities, and people working on campus were vaccinated.

We intend to continue our research and education activities while giving maximum consideration to the prevention of the spread of infection.
