活動制限指針レベル0.5（一部制限）引き下げ後の感染防止対策の徹底について
東京大学の学生のみなさんへ
新型インフルエンザ等対策特別措置法に基づく首都圏1都3県の緊急事態宣言については、3月21日（日）で解除されることになりました。
この措置を受け、本学においても、3月22日（月）から活動制限指針レベルを1から0.5へ移行することとしました。
これにより、「課外活動の再開に向けた方針」に基づき、感染拡大防止に最大限の配慮のもと、⼀部の課外活動を許可することとします。
4月には、本学は数多くの新入生を迎え、新年度の活動を開始します。すべての学生にとって、学業、研究、課外活動のいずれの面においても、きわめて重要なスタートの時期です。このような重要な時期ですので、感染を拡大させることなく、学生の活動を拡大させていきたいと考えています。
しかしながら、首都圏1都3県の感染者数は、依然として多い状況が続いています。また変異株による感染者数も増え始めていますので、大学内でクラスター感染が起きるなど、感染をより強く抑制する必要がある場合には、活動制限レベルをあげることになります。
このような状況下であることを十分に認識して、繰り返しにはなりますが、本学構成員に周知している「感染防止対策の徹底のお願い」を厳守していただき、特にこれまでの経験から感染リスクが大きいことが明らかとなった会食や懇談については、引き続き最大限の注意をお願いします。
個々人の感染防止対策の徹底が重要であること、改めて認識してください。

Message for UTokyo students: Thorough Implementation of Measures to Prevent the Spread of Infection Following the Lowering of the Activity Restriction Index to Level 0.5 (minimum restrictions)
To All Students of the University of Tokyo,
The state of emergency in Tokyo and three adjacent prefectures based on the Law Concerning the Special Measures against the novel coronavirus influenza was lifted on Sunday, 21 March 2021.
Following this, the university has made the decision to reduce its activity restrictions index from Level 1 to Level 0.5 from Monday, 22 March 2021.
As a result, some extracurricular activities will be permitted in accordance with the Policy for Restoration of Extracurricular Activities with maximum consideration taken for preventing the spread of infection.
In April, the university will be welcoming many new students, and activities of the new academic year will begin. This will be a particularly important period for all students in their academic, research and extracurricular activities. As such, we would like to ensure that the activities for students can be expanded without fear of spreading the infection.
However, the number of people being infected in Tokyo and nearby prefectures continues to be high, and the number of people becoming infected with the mutated strains is also beginning to increase. Therefore, please be aware that we may need to raise the level of restrictions once more if it is deemed necessary stronger actions are required control the spread of infections should clustered spread, or similar, occurs on campus.
We are reiterating this point, but we would like to ask you to be fully aware of the current situation and to observe the “Request thorough implementation of measures to prevent infection” that has been communicated to all members of the university. Furthermore, please continue to be extremely careful when eating, partying or talking in large groups which, based on past records, have been found to have a high risk of spreading the infection.
Please remember once again that thorough implementation of measures to prevent the spread of infection by each individual is paramount.
