Summary This program seeks to effectively promote research activities, enhance research set-up, and foster researchers who have a bird’s eye view of their academic field by selecting exceptional graduate students to participate in research projects at UTokyo that require high levels of creativity and specialized knowledge.
Target

UTokyo master’s students, doctoral students, and professional degree programs who also:

  • are participating in the Doctoral Program for World-leading Innovative& Smart Education (WISE)
  • are participating in the World-leading Innovative Graduate Study Program
  • are participating in the Quantum Leap Flagship Program (Q-LEAP)
  • are employed in a department-funded on-campus job
Support Details Participants will receive monthly financial support (in multiples of JPY 10,000) determined by the evaluation committee of the relevant department or externally funded unit based on the nature of the assigned research work.
