Summary This platform aggregates information of shareable research facilities and equipment available on the UTokyo campus and provides this information in a single centralized manner. The goal of the platform, which is maintained through the cooperation of all departments, is to optimize use of UTokyo resources and to support young researchers. In addition to equipment purchased for shared use, the platform lists various types of equipment managed by different laboratories, including instruments that may be too expensive for individual labs to purchase. There are currently 324 pieces of research equipment (including 235 that can be used by individuals not affiliated with UTokyo) grouped into six categories based on research purpose to facilitate searches. Some research equipment can also be reserved through this platform.
