Summary In addition to providing a safe and secure housing and study environment, the International Hall of Residence seeks to promote exchanges among students through communal living. Student housing and other services are provided for students from other parts of the country and international students, etc. Residence fees may be reduced based on students’ financial circumstances.

*Due to the reorganizing of university housing, the Oiwake International Hall of Residence is no longer accepting applications for housing from students. It has been renamed the Oiwake International Village and is now providing housing exclusively for researchers (including doctoral program students ).
Target UTokyo graduate students and third- or fourth-year undergraduate students
Support Details The monthly room fee of JPY 36,300 is reduced to JPY 10,000 during the permitted period of residence (Toshima International Hall of Residence Bldg. B).
