Summary The UTokyo Repository is an open platform for storing and archiving in electronic form of the various research outputs generated at UTokyo and disseminating them globally. Various types of academic contents, including journal articles, research data, technical reports, conference presentations, etc., can be registered for open access (OA). The repository can also be used to provide open access to departmental bulletins, doctoral dissertations meeting the University of Tokyo Rules on Academic Degrees, as well as research data required for manuscript submission.

Features The system provides a self-archiving function that enables authors or their delegates to easily apply for the public release of research outputs. Registered contents can be assigned DOIs, allowing the platform to serve as a venue for the semi-permanent preservation and dissemination of scholarly outputs.
