Summary Support for restarting research upon returning to work after an absence taken for childcare or family nursing care or related leave and research restarting or continuing support as well as support for additional personnel for researchers balancing education and research with childcare or family nursing care needs.
Target Available to faculty (excluding professors), full-time project faculty members (excluding project professors), and full-time project researchers who meet the program requirements and the following conditions: (1) Must be living with and raising a child or children up to early years of elementary school, (2) must be living with and be the primary caregiver for a family member certified as requiring long-term care, or (3) must meet the equivalent of the above two conditions. 
Support Details JPY 1,000,000 or JPY 500,000 (Research Restart Support), and up to JPY 500,000 (Continued Research Restart Support and Support for Work-Life Balance)
