Summary
  1. This program waives admission and/or tuition fees for selected students who have difficulty paying these fees due to economic or other reasons and who are also recognized as having outstanding academic capabilities.
  2. This program allows selected students who have difficulty paying admission and/or tuition fees on time for economic or other reasons and who are also recognized as having outstanding academic capabilities to defer such payments or pay in installments.
Target UTokyo undergraduate and graduate students (excluding research students, auditing students, and specially registered students)
Application Period

First semester: mid-February to early April; 2nd semester: early August to early October (tentative)

However, admission fee exemptions, etc. depend on the timing of the admissions process of each department.
